About Us

The Milton Centre for Women’s Health is composed of the offices of Dr. Melodye Rajasingham, Dr. Glen Hunter, Dr. Jane Wilkinson, Dr. Dipti Nadkarni, Dr. Munia Karah and Dr. Alia Mukhida.

We are a group of Obstetricians and Gynecologists who provide our specialist services at Milton District Hospital which is part of Halton Healthcare.

melodyeDr. Melodye Rajasingham
Dr. Rajasingham started her medical career in 1994 when she entered medical school at the University of Western Ontario. After graduating in 1998, she began her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McMaster University. Following her graduation from this program in 2003, she became a staff physician at Milton District Hospital. She continues to have a busy practice in general obstetrics and gynecology in Milton with interests in colposcopy and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Rajasingham is current Co-chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the Northern sites (Milton and Georgetown) of Halton Healthcare.
Dr. Rajasingham is a cinephile, foodie, scuba diver and traveller but finds her greatest joy in her newborn son and devoted partner.
diptiDr. Dipti Nadkarni
Dr. Nadkarni attended medical school at the Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec. After graduating in 2001, she began her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University. Upon completion of this program in 2008, she spent some additional time training in laparoscopic surgery.
She joined the Milton Ob/Gyn group in 2009, and has a general practice in this field. Her interests continue to be in laparoscopic surgery, as well as vaginal surgery.
Dr. Nadkarni is originally from Northern New Brunswick and is fluent in both English and French.
Dr. Wilkinson
Dr. Wilkinson is a graduate of McMaster Medical School and Residency Program. She began her general obstetrics and gynecology practice in 1985, beginning at the Credit Valley Hospital and joining the Milton Centre for Women’s Health in 2005. Dr. Wilkinson is an Associate Chief of Staff at Halton Healthcare and the Maternal/Newborn Clinical Lead for the Mississauga-Halton Local Health Integration Network. She is a member of the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health. Dr. Wilkinson’s interests include her four daughters, power walking and cycling, reading, and travel.
